“Adam Driver and the Million Dollar Haircut: The Musical” is a 90-minute journey of wishes, songs and stories from high school to Hollywood…all held together by a haircut.

It’s a different show every night, as American writer and composer R.M. Usatinsky (starring in his Richard Morris alter ego) braids a complex tapestry of songs, dreams and personal anecdotes into a quest to get his screenplay of a sequel to his favorite movie (Jim Jarmusch’s 2016, “Paterson,” starring Adam Driver) into the hands of someone who can make the film.

Based on Usatinsky’s 2024 novel of the same name, the semi-improvised musical (directed by Abbott Chrisman) explores a tender space where we remember breathtaking beginnings and long for satisfying endings, where hope and imagination grant each of us the power to reach our dreams.
